Raven Grimassi's Biography (Photos)
Raven Grimassi is a prolific and passionate writer on Stregheria and Family Witchcraft. Raven Grimassi has authored more than a dozen books on Wicca and Witchcraft, including The Encyclopedia of Wicca & Witchcraft, The Witches' Craft, and Hereditary Witchcraft, as well as his best-known, Italian Witchcraft: The Old Religion of Southern Europe. His most recent Crafting A Wiccan Tradition: Creating a Foundation for Your Spiritual Beliefs And Practices A practitioner and teacher of Witchcraft for over thirty years, Raven is an initiate of several Witchcraft traditions and the Directing Elder of the Arician Tradition, a system of Italian Witchcraft. His greatest interest lies in the subjects of Italian Witchcraft, Hereditary Witchcraft, and the works of Charles Godfrey Leland. Raven lives in southern California with his wife, Stephanie Taylor and divides his time between writing, directing the Arician Tradition, and developing The College of the Crossroads, an online mystery school. He is devoted to preserving and teaching the Mystery Traditions of pre-Christian Europe. We caught up with Raven recently and began our interview by asking him about one of his favorite subjects: the origins of Wicca.
